Begged, Borrowed, and Stolen Presents 'Orphans'

A new theatrical company, Begged, Borrowed, and Stolen is announcing its premiere production of Orphans, by Lyle Kessler.  The production features Tom Crew, Jeff Tinnean, and Gage Wallace, and is directed by Larry Mota. 

The play will run at The Haymarket Theatre, 803 Q Street on March 18-19, 25-27, April 1-3 at 7:30 p.m.; March 20 at 10:30 p.m.; and March 21 & 28 at 2:00 p.m.

Orphans tells the dramatic story of two orphaned brothers living in a Philadelphia row house, fending for themselves until they are adults at the beginning of the play.  There lives are changed irrevocably when a stranger comes home with the older brother one night. 

Orphans won the OBIE award in 1985 and was one of the plays made famous by the legendary Chicago Steppenwolf Theatre.

The Hobbit

Before there was the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, there was the dark and outrageous story of "The Hobbit."

Come join us on the adventure that started it all, while our Advanced Class puts on the Live Theatre version of "The Hobbit"!

Show dates are March 11, 12, 13 at 7:00 p.m. and March 13 at 2:00 & 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 General and $8 for Students.

Godspell

The Haymarket Theatre is announcing its next Nebraska Youth Theatre Musical production: "Godspell Jr." Directed by Tom Crew, "Godspell Junior" is a groundbreaking musical full of such famous songs as "Day by Day," and "All for the Best."

Show dates are March 4, 5, 6 at 7:00 p.m. and March 6 at 2:00 & 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 General and $8 for Students.
