The play will run at The Haymarket Theatre, 803 Q Street on March 18-19, 25-27, April 1-3 at 7:30 p.m.; March 20 at 10:30 p.m.; and March 21 & 28 at 2:00 p.m.
Orphans tells the dramatic story of two orphaned brothers living in a Philadelphia row house, fending for themselves until they are adults at the beginning of the play. There lives are changed irrevocably when a stranger comes home with the older brother one night.
Orphans won the OBIE award in 1985 and was one of the plays made famous by the legendary Chicago Steppenwolf Theatre.
